Do I have to purchase a subscription to read the Blog?

You do not need to purchase a subscription to read the HBR Blog Network content, nor do you need to log into a Registered limited access account to view the blog posts. Anyone who visits our site may read our Blog, even under the Guest limited access role given by default to all not signed in visitors.

How do I access the Blog?

You can read any of our blogs by clicking on ‘Blogs’ in the black menu bar close to the top of your screen. On the resulting page click on the title of a blog to view and read the full text online.

How do I Comment on a Blog?

To add your Comment to a Blog, while viewing the full blog post, scroll all the way to the bottom of your screen, enter your texts and/or links into the ‘Add New Comment’ field, click the ‘Post as’ button, and either enter your name and email or choose a social media site account you already own through which to publish your addition to the conversation thread. You can post a Comment through your account on the following social media sites; Disqus, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, OpenID. We hope the conversations that take place on will be energetic, constructive, and thought-provoking. To ensure the quality of the discussion, our moderating team will review all comments and may edit them for clarity, length, and relevance. Comments that are overly promotional, mean-spirited, or off-topic may be deleted per the moderators' judgment. All postings become the property of Harvard Business School Publishing.

How do I include my avatar, image or picture in my blog Comment?You can include your avatar, image or picture with your blog Comment by selecting one of the social media sites available in the 'Post as' pop up window and logging into your account registered on that social media website. The image associated to your profile on that site will display to the left of your Comment.
What if I need to edit my Comment?

If you need to edit your Comment, please contact us at (800) 988-0886 or (617) 783-7500 or via e-mail at and we will work with you to make any necessary edits.

What if my posted Comment has not shown up yet?

Please be aware that we have a rigorous spam filter, so it is highly possible your Comment has been caught by that system. The Comments caught by our spam filters are reviewed and released, when appropriate, daily, so please allow a business day for your Comment to appear.
